Show + Tell is a place for constructive, thoughtful conversation.
This is a critique session, so participants are expected to be respectful, engaged, and supportive. The premise is simple: show your work, get feedback, give feedback, eat snacks, and drink booze. Not rocket science, just a good time. Intrigued? Read on.
Who is this for?
For now, this is a group for working graphic designers. Because students have access to established support networks within their schools, we want to make sure this forum is available to those who don't. We plan to expand our target audience in the future to include students and other creative disciplines.
Each session will accommodate 12 total attendees, 6 of whom will present a project of their choice, either personal or professional. When you register for a session, you'll be asked whether you'd like to present or simply attend.
When does it take place?
We're starting with one session per quarter, but will definitely consider increasing the frequency to meet demand. Always held on a Wednesday at 6:30pm, each presenter gets 15 minutes to present and receive feedback on their work.
Registration will open one week in advance of the session, and attendance is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Sign up for email notifications to be sure you don't miss any announcements!
Where do I show up?
To begin, sessions will be held at Noise13. In the near future, we'll be taking Show + Tell on the road to other design studios around San Francisco. Interested in hosting one? Please get in touch!
